Lorenza Magliano, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Department of Psychology of the University of Campania ‘Luigi Vanvitelli’, Caserta. Her main fields of research are: the development and evaluation of the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions aimed at people with severe mental disorders and their families; the evaluation of the impact of staff training in evidence-based psychosocial interventions on mental health service practices; the assessment of the burden and of social and professional resources in people with mental or physical disorders and their families; the study of stigma associated with mental disorders in the social, work and health contexts; and, the development of stigma-reduction interventions aimed at students of health disciplines.
